Are you a fan of posters? Then PosteRazor is for you! This program allows us to print large-format posters in the form of separate elements to be combined afterwards. This simple but useful application enables us to create our own collection of posters for free (apart from the printing costs, of course).
The program supports all the formats related to the FreeImage library, namely: BMP, DDS, Dr. Halo, GIF, ICO, IFF, JBIG, JPEG/JIF, KOALA, LBM, Kodak PhotoCD, PCX, PBM, PGM, PNG, PPM, PhotoShop PSD, Sun RAS, TARGA, TIFF, WBMP, XBM and XPM. It also allows us to use the following image types: monochromatic, greyscale, 4-bit palette, 8-bit palette, 24-bit RGB, 48-bit RGB (only TIFF and PNG) and 32-bit CMYK. It also supports images like 24-bit RGBA, but they are converted to 24-bit RGB and have the alfa channel replaced with white color.
When painting, the program supports a range of formats for size measurement, from metric system (meters, centimeters, millimeters), to imperial one (feet, inches). Printing formats can be set for A4, A3 or tabloid format. It is also possible to set our own sizes but there is the PDF-related limit of maximum 5m x 5m.
The program’s interface which is also available in Polish, is very easy to use and offers access to all the program’s options. Every single step in the program is described in detail.
