A free version of Ashampoo FireWall is used for protecting the computer against spyware and some common dangers we encounter everyday. It is comprehensive and fast – these are its main assets. In the Windows system it serves as an active shield which is supposed to block any external traffic from the Internet and inform us about it.

The program offers two modes of work: Easy Mode which, as the name suggests, is intended for beginners who had no previous contact with any firewall application; and Expert Mode, intended for some more advnaced computer users having IT knowledge.
Ashampoo FireWall is certainly an application which has been well-optimized as regards the currently used hardware. It consumes much less resources and RAM than its competitors. It is operated easily (in the Easy Mode) and intuitively and the installation itself does not pose any problems.

It is recommended to install Ashampoo FireWall when we notice a sudden drop in the Internet efficiency or some changes to the system caused by viruses and bugs. The application requires registering (free of charge) on the producer’s website.
