Mouse Wrangler 1.01

Gestures, which are a part of the so-called non-verbal communication, are an integral element of our everyday interpersonal communication. They allow us to convey much more information that words. The problem is, they cannot be transferred to a computer which is based on keyboard and mouse (or some other rodent-like device). Or can they? Mouse Wrangler offers some interesting opportunities related to that.

It is an application that allows the user to program a range of recognizable gestures made with the computer mouse after which the computer will perform a given task, for instance open some file (when we make a circle with the mouse), open the Internet browser (when we draw a number eight). The program is very versatile in this respect: the user can create new gestures thanks to a simple and comprehensible creator rand perform them in any moment by means of a mouse (provided that the program is opened in the background).Although those who are used to using the mouse may find it strange, those who use, for instance, graphic tablets are bound to find it helpful as they no longer have to reach for the mouse in order to open the image file.

The interface is user-friendly and easy to use. The only problem may be getting used to the gestures. However, once we master it, we should have no problems using the program. The program does not require any installation (although the optional installer is included in the package), so we can easily check it out before including it in the list of our everyday tools.
