Geography tests have always belonged to those most challenging ones, haven’t they? They required both thinking and learning a lot of information by heart – from Polish voivodships and their locations, to the world’s capital cities. Enigeo is a freeware application which provides help regarding the latter.
The program is supposed to be a teaching aid and it offers two modes: in the first one it behaves like an atlas with a world political map enabling us to see the current political division and displays the name of the country, its area, capital city, flag, national anthem and a series of questions. The second mode is the so-called quiz, in which we answer the questions about world’s countries. It is very easy to use and modify according to our requirements: we can specify the type of questions it is supposed to ask, limit the range of questions to only one or two continents or to a certain area. The program saves results so that it can be used in healthy competition between kids and students. It is very important and helpful and we all know that learning a lot of information by heart is very arduous and difficult.
Its interface is very simple and transparent. The program is quickly installed and does not require any additional software. Also, it is available in twelve language versions, including Polish. Its another advantage are regular updates published by its creators: for instance, 4.0.1 version is updated and includes the recent geo-political changes in Libya.
