Family Tree Builder 5.1

Family Tree Builder is one of the best applications for creating family trees. It is a freeware program, offered by MyHeritage Ltd. either in a free version or the paid premium version.

It is a very powerful application for creating virtual family trees but it is not limited to just graphs. The program allows us to add detailed biographies of people together with their photos and maps showing places where are ancestors lived. Apart from that, it also offers some additional options like managing the archive family photos, with the possibility of marking the silhouettes of people in the photos (with the automatic face detection) and, thanks to the Smart Matching option, making them join the trees published on the Internet by the relatives. The Internet constitutes an integral part of the program: by means of just one click we can upload the family tree on the Internet and share it with our relatives, at the same time maintaining the privacy-protecting settings.

Its high advantage is a user-friendly and well-structured interface which allows us to quickly add new people to our family tree and develop the information about the already existing family members. The program is also available in the Polish version. It is installed quickly and does not require any additional software.
