Console is a very useful program for computer programmers and Windows users. It is like an extension of functions of the Windows default command line interface.
The program does not only support the command line interface itself, but also enables the user to open more than just one window and introduce separate commands by means of the tab-based interface. It has also got a very useful option which is nonexistent in Windows. What is it? Well, this is simply the Copy/Paste option allowing the user to freely copy and paste commands and ready-made scripts. This considerably precipitates and facilitates work. The program can also be adjusted to the user’s individual requirements by means of the option menu. The user may choose the window color, the number of lines to be displayed, timeout, keyboard shortcuts, etc.
At the same time the program boasts a user-friendly interface. It is definitely much better that the default command line interface and it also makes it possible to do things that the latter does not. Console is installed very quickly. Its only drawback is that it cannot replace the Windows default command line interface. Lack of this option is quite annoying especially when we frequently use the command line. However, despite this vice, the program is really versatile and certainly worth recommending.
