Organizing photos might be problematic if you are a passionate photographer. Everyone must have at least once fallen into the trap of trying to organize a catalogue of several hundred photos. Photilla is a freeware program created in order facilitate the task of organizing photos and creating albums.
Designed by NCH Software, this is a small (less than 200 kB) but a powerful application enabling the user to create and segregate albums by means of drag-and-drop technique. It also offers a wide range of tools for cataloguing and creating categories for the already existing albums. An interesting option is the possibility to display a single picture in more than one album without the need to additionally set the options – it’s just drag-and-drop. Photilla also allows the user to automatically burn albums while retaining their structure and file quality on compact discs and DVDs. The program also allows setting and changing the image properties, including such data as author, title, comments or topic. At the same time it is a single element of a free set of tools for editing and managing photos and recordings and is compatible with PhotoStage and Express Burn.
It has got a comfortable and user-friendly interface that is also well-designed. Try it for yourself!
