Fresh UI, made accessible by Fresh Devices, is a small but surprisingly useful program for modifying the computer settings. This often concerns the settings whose existence we didn’t even know about.
This small application is compatible with all Windows operating systems available on the market: Windows 95, Windows 98, Windows 2000, Windows NT, Windows Millennium, Windows XP, Windows Vista and Windows 7. It allows the user to take advantage of the settings available in the system in order to optimize the computer work and adjust it to one’s own requirements. The program enables the user to manage Windows default settings such as Explorer or RegEdit, which the user may not always be able to access. As regards the equipment, the program allows the user to set the options such as a default audio CD player, retaining the Windows tool for disc burning, playing discs automatically, the size of cache L@ in the processor (which is not always set according to the opportunities offered by the processor), options of equipment manager, CPU priority with relation to Windows, retaining the mouse and its sensitivity, energy management profiles and the way the computer works after resuming, keyboard settings, modem settings including the configuration of Unimodem and the PCMCIA network as well as network adapters, and the installed PC cards. It also allows for configuring printer. Last but not least, it allows the user to set some important options related to the work of processor and the mainboards.
The program is equipped with a clear and comfortable interface based on hierarchical structure.
