Virtual Moon Atlas 5.1

For any astronomer, whether a professional or an amateur, sky atlases are extremely helpful to pursue their interests. Virtual Moon Atlas, as the name suggests, is a digital map or our Moon, enabling us to view its surface in any given moment and any phase and the in-built database allows us to find our about the lunar landscape.

Created by Patrick Chevalley and Christian Legrand, the program show us the Moon in any phase as well as more than nine thousand elements of its landscape. There is also a library of over seven thousand photographs compiled by Christian Legrand. The program is very easy to use and may be used as a scientific aid when learning astronomy or simply at home for observing the night sky. Thanks to the possibility of combining its functions with Sky Charts by Patrick Chevalley, it is now one of the most comprehensive sky atlases available on the market.
It is constantly being developed by means of regular updates of databases and libraries. Its authors also regularly browse the program-related forums in search of suggestions of how to further improve Virtual Moon Atlas.

Its interface is very comfortable to use and user-friendly. For all those who like observing the night sky, this application is simply a must-have.
