SAGA GIS 2.0.8

SAGA is a professional German program used for automated geoscientific analyses (System for Automated Geoscientific Analyses), integrated with the Geographic Information System. It is addressed to professional geologists and geographers who need a tool that would automate various tasks performed in their work.

The main aim of the program is to provide scientists with an effective and comprehensible platform of methods and tools typically used in geographical sciences. This is achieved by means of unique API architecture which enables them to easily add elements to the program and develop its functions. An element which guarantees the program is easy to use is its graphical user interface, which is transparent and comfortable. These two elements coupled together ensure the program successfully performs its tasks and fulfills its intended aims.

The program is written in the universal C++ language and is based on librarywxWidgets, so that it can be opened on both Windows and Linux systems. The program is constantly being developed by its authors so that we may be sure its functions are regularly improved.
